Cat C Section

Momma and babies were fine after the first night, sweet rewards!
Surgery assistants standing by for the first babies. It will be their job to get them breathing, dry them off and get them warm!
First baby! The placenta is still intact so we will have to carefully but quickly break it open.
Sleepy little newborn kitten.
These babies are very tiny, only 45-55 grams each. Normal kitten birth weights are 90-110 grams.
These babies were so tiny that we had to help them eat the first night. Mom was too tired and the babies too weak.
